I. What events are happening over the wedding weekend?

We’ll be celebrating across two days:
28 May — Welcome gathering
29 May — Wedding day

II. Can I bring my children?
​
We kindly request that the celebration be adults-only. We hope this allows all guests to relax and fully enjoy the festivities.
III. Can I bring a plus-one?
Due to venue capacity and our wish for an intimate celebration, we’re only able to accommodate the guests listed on the invitation. Thank you for understanding.
IV. What does semi-formal mean for a vintage Art Nouveau–inspired wedding?

Our dress code is semi-formal, which generally means cocktail attire — elegant, polished, and comfortable. If you’d like to incorporate our vintage Art Nouveau theme (completely optional!), you’re welcome to add subtle period-inspired touches.
For women:
Cocktail dresses or elegant separates. Art Nouveau–inspired elements might include soft, flowing silhouettes, curved lines, muted jewel tones, delicate florals, lace, silk, or vintage-style accessories.
For men:
A suit or tailored trousers with a jacket. Optional Art Nouveau nods could include textured fabrics, warm or earthy tones, patterned ties, pocket squares, or classic accessories.
Semi-formal attire in any style is perfectly appropriate — the theme is simply inspiration for those who enjoy dressing to a mood.
V. Are there any footwear recommendations?

Parts of the celebration may take place outdoors and on uneven surfaces, so we recommend comfortable, dress-appropriate footwear. Block heels, wedges, flats, or dressy sandals are great options. For men, dress shoes or smart loafers are ideal. We suggest avoiding very thin heels for comfort and ease.

VI. Are there restaurants or activities you recommend?

VII. Is transportation provided?

We will share any shuttle information, parking details, and travel tips in the Travel section of the website closer to the date.
VIII. Where should I stay?
We will be blocking hotel rooms in Évora for our guests. You’ll receive a booking link and promo code to access special rates. These details will be available soon — please check back for updates.

Your presence is truly the greatest gift.

X. What will the weather be like?
Late May in Portugal is generally warm and sunny, with cooler evenings. We recommend bringing a light layer.
XI. Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?
All of the wedding events will likely take place outdoors, depending on the weather. We’ll share details and contingency plans closer to the date.
